Manfrotto 088LBP is a steel mounting adapter with an internal 1/4″ thread and an external 3/8″ thread. It lets a compatible tripod or light stand with a 1/4″ mounting screw accept a head or accessory with a 3/8″ female connection. Its 30 mm flange provides a broad contact surface, while the 48 g construction is easy to carry in a photo or video kit. Made in Italy, this model is also identified as USA 3367 in Manfrotto documentation.

Connect two thread sizes
Keep a compatible 1/4″ mounting support in service when your head or accessory needs a 3/8″ male connection. The steel adapter joins these two interfaces without changing the support itself.

Check the connection
The lower internal 1/4″ thread accepts the support’s male screw; the upper external 3/8″ thread enters the equipment’s female connection. Check both mating threads before fitting and keep the complete assembly within the limits of its least-rated component.
Manufacturer drawing: filled circle = external thread, hollow circle = internal thread; W = Whitworth notation. The 30 mark specifies the flange diameter in millimetres, not the adapter’s height.
