The Manfrotto 184 is a compact, solid-brass adapter that converts a 3/8″ female thread (e.g. on a stand or clamp) into a short 5/8″ (16 mm) Baby male spigot with a 3/8″ male thread on top – the perfect quick link for mounting small lights, cameras, or accessories onto Baby receivers while keeping height addition to an absolute minimum.

The Manfrotto 184 is a double-male adapter that combines a 5/8″ (16 mm) Baby pin with 3/8″ threads on both ends. The bottom features a wide 3/8″ female socket that screws securely onto any 3/8″ male stud, while the top presents a short 5/8″ Baby spigot ending in a 3/8″ male thread. At only 5.8 cm tall and 80 g, it adds virtually no height or leverage, making it ideal for topping stands, Superclamps, magic arms or grip heads when you need a clean Baby pin instead of a 3/8″ thread.
