Libec RSP-750

The Libec RS PLUS product range brings real comfort at work - in addition to excellent controllability, the new range offers real creativity. The RHP75 head offers continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance from 5.5–14 kg and a 7-step drag. The system carries 17 kg and adjusts from 65 to 175.5 cm. The camera plate attaches with a single touch and slides ±55 mm.

The Libec RSP-750 is a professional RS PLUS tripod system for shoulder cameras up to 17 kg, built for studio, OB and news work. It combines the RHP75 head with continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance, the two-stage aluminum RT50B tripod with the SP-2B floor spreader and the wheeled RC-70 carrying case. The system weighs 8 kg and adjusts from 65 to 175.5 cm.

Balanced at any angle

Continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance keeps the camera balanced at any tilt angle across a 5.5–14 kg range (C.G. 125 mm). The counterbalance knob turns with constant force throughout, so adjustment is quick.

One-touch camera plate

The camera plate attaches and detaches with a single touch, so the system is ready to shoot in no time. It slides ±55 mm and holds the camera with two 3/8" screws.

A case on wheels

The RC-70 case has two wheels and a side handle grip, so it is easy to pull along on foot. Soft and hard protectors on all sides absorb impacts, and its rigid design lets it travel as check-in luggage.

Smooth in freezing cold and heat

The sealed torque unit gives smooth starts and stops in pan and tilt, so every move looks exactly as intended. Special silicone grease keeps the movement consistent from −40 to +60 °C.

7-step drag

The seven-step drag switch covers a remarkably wide torque range for any situation.

Tilt +90° to −70°

An illuminated LED bubble level helps you level the head quickly, even in the dark.

RT50B aluminum legs

The two-stage tripod with upper locks carries 40 kg and has grips at the leg joints for carrying.

SP-2B floor spreader

The ground-level spreader links the tripod legs and holds them firmly in position.

Counterbalance technology.

All products in the RS PLUS range have been completely redesigned. The new RHP75 and RHP85 video heads allow detailed and precise adjustment of the spring tension depending on the weight of the camera and its accessories used. Thanks to this adjustment you get a perfect balance between the camera and the internal spring at any inclination.

The unique stabilizing and balancing mechanism prevents any kinking or oscillation of the spring when stopped and its transfer to the image. In addition, the new mechanism makes adjusting the camera balance much faster and easier. In addition to speeding up the adjustment, the new stabilization system also ensures a perfect and stable image.

In addition to better stability, the system for adjusting the stiffness or resistance of the spring has also been modified. In general, the stiffer the spring, the harder it is to adjust. With the RS PLUS, this system has been redesigned and the stiffness adjustment is the same throughout the entire range.

New quick release mechanism.

The quick-release plate can be inserted and removed very easily and there is no need to retract it - by simply modifying the clamping mechanism you save time and simplify your work.

A new addition to the RHP75 and RHP85 heads is a longer sliding plate allowing for better and more stable mounting of the camera and accessories on the tripod. It can slide up to a few centimeters, allowing for better and faster camera balancing.

An internal torsion head mechanism completes a perfect and smooth movement from start to finish. In addition to the mechanism itself, a special lubricant has been developed to ensure the same head properties over a wide temperature range - from -40°C to +60°C.

The variable and seven-step adjustable head resistance ensures that the optimum resistance can be selected for the conditions required. The wide range of resistance in both axes ensures suitable adjustment in all circumstances.

Heavy Duty or ENG?

The new RS PLUS series also brings the option of a choice of tripod legs to suit your needs and requirements. If you need a solid, sturdy and stable tripod in all circumstances, the 850 series is for you. If you frequently travel or carry your tripod from place to place, the 750 series will be the ideal choice for you. The following tripods are used with the RS PLUS series:

Transport.

Do you travel often? Do you need to carry other accessories besides the tripod itself? For the RS PLUS series, complete new reinforced transport bags on wheels and with a lot of protective features have been created. With side handles and integrated wheels designed for comfortable hauling, the bag also includes additional "snap-on" plastic handles for convenient handling. The external dimensions of the bag also allow the tripod to be transported seamlessly by plane as standard luggage. The following transport bags are designed for the RS PLUS series:

• rC-80
• is recommended for the 850 series
• for the 750 series the smaller RC-70

Drag control. Pan and tilt drag are set separately, so you can match the head to the lens and the shot.

Upper leg locks. Height is set with locks at the top of the legs, housed in die-cast aluminum for a firm hold.

RHP75 counterbalance chart. The vertical axis shows the height of the camera’s center of gravity above the plate, the horizontal axis the total weight of camera and accessories. The area between the curves is the range the head can balance; a shoulder camera typically sits around 125 mm. At maximum spring strength the tilt is limited to ±40°.
