It charges over USB-C with 20 W PD support — full in three to four hours, 40 % faster than without USB-C. How much is left shows on an LED bar at a press of the CHECK button, in four steps of 25 per cent.

The block has both a USB-C and a USB-A output, so it will charge a laptop or a phone too. The NP-F mount fits camcorders, monitors, LED lights and motorised sliders. The electronics watch temperature, over-voltage, over-discharge, over-current, over-charge and short circuit.
