K&F Concept EF-M4/3 – Canon EF Lens to Micro 4/3 Mount Adapter

The K&F Concept EF-M4/3 adapter lets you mount Canon EF/EF-S-mount lenses on Micro Four Thirds-mount (MFT) cameras. It has no electronic contacts and you focus manually all the way to infinity; the adapter cannot set the aperture of EF/EF-S lenses, which have no aperture ring. The body made of brass and aluminium holds the lens firmly, and a red dot makes mounting and removal easy.

Canon EF lenses on MFT cameras

With the EF-M4/3 adapter you can attach Canon EF/EF-S-mount lenses to Micro Four Thirds-mount (MFT) cameras and keep using them on a modern body. The adapter is precision-made, so the lens sits firmly and focuses all the way to infinity.

Solid metal construction

The adapter body is made of brass and aluminium; it is durable and fits the lens and camera precisely, so the lens is held without play. A red dot makes mounting and removal easy.

Manual focus and aperture

You focus with the ring on the lens while the camera works in aperture priority or manual mode. EF/EF-S lenses have no aperture ring, and an adapter without electronic contacts cannot set their aperture. STM lenses (for example EF 50mm f/1.8 STM or EF-S 18-135mm IS STM) need power to focus and therefore cannot focus with this adapter.

Camera settings

Before first use, enable the option in the camera menu that allows the shutter to be released without a lens attached (Release w/o Lens). The camera does not recognise an adapter without contacts and would not release the shutter without this setting.

Good to know

Support heavy lenses with a telephoto lens support and a tripod so that they do not strain the mount.
