The K&F Concept 82mm Nano-X Soft Gradient GND16 Filter is designed for photographers who frequently capture outdoor scenes with significant brightness contrast—such as landscapes during sunrise, sunset, or bright midday skies. Due to the limited dynamic range of camera sensors, exposing for the sky often darkens the foreground, while exposing for the ground overexposes the sky.

This soft graduated filter solves this challenge by incorporating a smooth transition from clear to neutral gray, allowing you to selectively darken the brighter portion of the frame, typically the upper sky area. This helps balance overall exposure, reduce blown-out highlights, and preserve detail across the entire image.

Constructed from top-quality Japanese optical glass, the GND16 filter provides 4 stops (1.2) of light reduction with excellent optical performance. Precision grinding and double-sided polishing ensure molecular stability, maintaining sharpness and clarity—even with high-resolution cameras and telephoto lenses.
