Meike MK-85MM T2.1 FF-Prime PL

The Meike 85mm T2.1 lens from the FF-Prime Cine Series has a circular 45mm diameter, is compatible with all FF cameras and comes in PL/EF/RF/E/L mount options. This makes it compatible with Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Sigma and Leica DSLM cameras equipped with FF/Super 35/APS-C size sensors and Canon C700, Sony Venice, Alexa LF, Z Cam E2-F6, Mavo LF, etc. Of course, standard M0.8mm focus ring gear and side focus aperture are standard. The full planned FF-Prime Cine line will offer 16mm T2,1, 24mm T2,1, 35mm T2,1, 50mm T2,1, 85mm T2,1, 105mm T2,1 and 135mm T2,1 models.

Meike 85 mm T2.1 FF-Prime Cine at a glance

The Meike 85 mm T2.1 FF-Prime Cine is a manual-focus 85 mm prime for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Its T2.1 aperture leaves room to work in poor light and to separate the subject from the background.

Optics and rendering

The optical design uses 14 elements in 8 groups, with a 11-blade diaphragm that keeps out-of-focus highlights round. The aperture runs from T2.1 to T22, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.85 m.

Handling and build

Focus and aperture are set by hand; the lens has no electronic contacts, so the camera must be set to release without a lens. The filter thread is 82 mm and it weighs about 1.2 kg.
