Insta360 Mic Pro (2 TX + 1 RX) is the full wireless microphone kit: two coin-sized transmitters with three-mic arrays and customisable E-Ink displays, a receiver with an OLED touchscreen, and a charging case that takes the pair to 30 hours of use. Each transmitter records independently to 32 GB of onboard memory in 32-bit float, so an interview survives interference, a dead camera battery and a sudden laugh alike. Four selectable pickup patterns, two levels of AI noise cancelation and mono, stereo or safety-track modes cover a seated interview as well as a noisy street. The receiver takes up to four transmitters, feeds up to four receivers from one transmitter, and supports timecode in and out for multi-camera edits. Range is up to 400 m.

Two transmitters mean an interview is recorded as two separate tracks rather than one mixed compromise, so a quiet guest and a loud host can be balanced afterwards instead of during. The charging case refills both transmitters and the receiver about twice, which is where the 30-hour figure comes from.

The case is the reason it lasts all day

A fully charged case recharges both transmitters and the receiver roughly twice — 30 hours of recording without a socket. Five minutes in the case is worth an hour and a half of use, and everything travels in one closed box instead of loose in a bag, which is also how the transmitters stay paired and ready.

Interviews, panels, four speakers

One receiver takes up to four transmitters and keeps every voice on its own track, so a panel or a four-person podcast stays editable in post. Stereo mode separates the two transmitters into left and right, mono mixes them, and safety track records a second version at -6 dB as insurance against a sudden peak.

Small enough to forget you are wearing it

Each transmitter is 38 mm across and weighs 19.7 g, clips to a lapel or attaches through fabric with the magnet, and its E-Ink display can carry a logo or a speaker name — useful when two of them are on set and you need to know which is which, in the shot and in the file list.
