DJI Mic 3 is an advanced compact microphone that supports magnetic attachment and clip-on mounting. Set includes 2 TX + 1 RX + charging case.
The DJI Mic 3 transmitter is compact, lightweight, and discreet. The removable rotating clip allows for flexible microphone angle adjustment, ensuring high-quality audio recording in any situation.
The charging case can easily hold two transmitters and one receiver. Each transmitter can be stored with its windshield and magnet or magnetic clip attached. When storing transmitters with clips, there is additional space in the lid for magnets and a locking audio adapter.
Automatic mode effectively prevents sound distortion, making it ideal for outdoor use with significant volume fluctuations, such as at sporting events. Dynamic mode automatically adjusts the gain depending on volume changes, ensuring consistent volume – ideal for quiet indoor environments such as studios.
Regular is the default setting, providing clear, natural, and balanced sound. Rich emphasizes bass for a more pronounced and powerful sound. Bright emphasizes high frequencies, adding clarity and sparkle to the voice.
The Basic level is suitable for quiet indoor environments, suppressing fan noise, air conditioning, and echoes while keeping the voice clear and intelligible. The Strong level excels in noisy environments, significantly suppressing ambient noise and ensuring a clearer voice.
With the windscreen attached, the transmitter effectively reduces wind noise and other unwanted sounds, providing clear and crisp sound even in windy or noisy environments – ideal for live streaming and vlogging, for example.
The receiver features a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen and control dial, putting gain level, battery status, and modes at your fingertips. You can fine-tune settings and update firmware in the DJI Mimo app.
The DJI Mic 3receiver can be connected to up to four transmitters at once, allowing you to record from four audio sources simultaneously. The main receiver can also synchronize audio with up to seven other receivers. Whether it's a group interview or a multi-camera production, you'll have crystal-clear audio on all devices, making post-production a breeze.
The receiver allows you to choose between Mono and Stereo (two-channel) mode – you can record the sound from each transmitter separately or merge it into a single track depending on the specific situation or recording style.
In Quadraphonic mode, the DJI Mic 3 receiver, paired with selected Sony cameras or computer software, supports independent output of four audio tracks. This allows for precise separation and flexible mixing of tracks, giving you more creative freedom during post-production.
DJI Mic 3 supports automatic frequency switching between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with a range of up to 400 meters. With high interference resistance, it ensures stable audio transmission even in the presence of strong interference from other wireless devices.
When Lossless Audio is enabled, the transmitter sends uncompressed audio in 48 kHz and 24-bit quality directly to the receiver. This ensures that every recording is captured with stunning fidelity and quality.
Internal recording protects your recordings from wireless interference or device malfunctions. With dual internal recording, the DJI Mic 3 simultaneously stores the original track and an algorithm-enhanced version, streamlining your workflow and keeping your creative process flowing.
With support for 32-bit float internal recording, DJI Mic 3 offers a wide dynamic range that not only ensures high-quality recordings but also better adaptation to complex audio environments. It can capture every subtle nuance of the voice, from quiet whispers to loud decibels.
DJI Mic 3 offers support for high-precision timecode. The transmitter records it during internal recording, while the receiver allows for both input and output. With a deviation of less than one frame per 24 hours, you can instantly sync footage from multiple cameras in post-production.
When you're done shooting, simply use the charging case and USB-C data cable to connect both transmitters to your computer or smartphone. Editing and sharing are quick and easy, with all internally recorded files transferred at once. You can also connect the transmitter to the DJI Mimo app to download the audio files.
The transmitter lasts up to 8 hours on a full charge and the receiver up to 10 hours. A fully charged charging case allows for approximately 2.4 full recharges, giving a total battery life of up to 28 hours of continuous use.
Charging for just 5 minutes allows up to 2 hours of use for both the transmitter and receiver. With 3C fast charging support, a full charge takes only about 50 minutes.
The transmitter automatically enters sleep mode when it does not detect a signal from the receiver. As soon as it detects a signal again, it wakes up and reconnects to the receiver. This feature allows you to carry the transmitter for long periods of time without having to constantly turn it on and off
On the receiver display or in the DJI Mimo app, you can set the transmitter and receiver to automatically turn off after a period of inactivity. If this feature is enabled on both devices, they will automatically turn off if they are not connected for more than 15 minutes.
When the synchronized power on/off feature is enabled on the receiver or in the DJI Mimo app, the receiver will automatically turn on when the camera is turned on and turn off when the camera is turned off, provided it is connected to the camera via a 3.5mm audio cable or hot shoe.
If the receiver is connected to your smartphone via a cable, it is powered directly from the phone. If you connect an external power source to the receiver's USB-C port, you can charge both the receiver and your phone at the same time.
The transmitter supports direct connection to Osmo 360, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 without a receiver. The DJI OsmoAudio™connection ecosystem provides premium audio, simplifies your gear and workflow, and streamlines your creative process.
The receiver is equipped with several ports to support your creative endeavors: a lockable 3.5mm TRS output for stable, uninterrupted connection, a 3.5mm TRRS port for real-time audio monitoring, and a USB-C port for simultaneous charging and recording—ideal for phones, tablets, and computers.
No receiver is required – the transmitter connects directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth, so you can easily use it with your favorite third-party apps for recording or live streaming. With the DJI Mimo app, you can adjust parameters and update firmware in one place, making setup and control quick and easy.
