Insta360 Mic Pro (1 TX + 1 RX)

Insta360 Mic Pro (1 TX + 1 RX) is a complete wireless microphone set for one speaker: a coin-sized transmitter with a three-mic array and a customisable E-Ink display, plus a receiver with an OLED touchscreen that mounts in a camera cold shoe. The transmitter records to its own 32 GB memory in 32-bit float, so a track survives interference, a flat camera battery and an unexpected shout alike. Two levels of AI noise cancelation clean up wind and crowd without hollowing out the voice, and four selectable pickup patterns adapt the mic to the room. The receiver connects to a camera by 3.5 mm cable, to a phone through the bundled USB-C adapter and to a computer over USB-C, and supports timecode for multi-camera work. Range is up to 400 m, with 10 hours on the transmitter and 11 on the receiver.

Transmitter, receiver, windshield, clip, magnet, phone adapter and the 3.5 mm camera cable — the set is ready for a camera, a phone or a computer on the first day. A five-minute charge is worth an hour and a half of recording, so a flat battery does not end the shoot.

A receiver you can read at a glance

The OLED touchscreen shows levels, battery and connection state, and the auxiliary dial changes settings without menu diving. It mounts in a cold shoe, powers on and off with the camera when connected by cable or hot shoe, and its timecode input and output keep audio locked to a multi-camera edit.

Interviews without cable chaos

Four pickup patterns mean one microphone covers a seated interview, a piece to camera and a noisy street: omnidirectional for ambience, cardioid for a front-focused voice, super-directional when camera-mounted and figure-8 for two people facing each other. The transmitter can also feed up to four receivers at once, so several cameras get the same clean audio.

Small enough to forget you are wearing it

The transmitter is 38 mm across and weighs 19.7 g, clips to a lapel or attaches through fabric with the magnet, and the E-Ink display can carry your logo or a name instead of a bare grey disc. Even switched off it keeps showing it, which is why it reads as part of the shot rather than gear.
