The Insta360 Mic Pro Transmitter in Arctic White is a standalone transmitter for the Mic Pro wireless system — add a second speaker to an existing kit, or clip it on and record straight to the transmitter itself. Three microphones inside let you pick the pickup pattern for the room: omnidirectional, super-directional, cardioid or figure-8. Recording runs to 32 GB of onboard memory in 32-bit float, so a sudden shout cannot clip the take, and AI noise cancelation keeps the voice natural rather than flattened. The 1.22" six-colour E-Ink display carries your own logo or a name, visible even when the unit is switched off. It pairs straight to Insta360 X5, X4 Air, Ace Pro 2, GO Ultra and Luna Ultra without a receiver, or over 2.4 GHz to a Mic Pro receiver at up to 400 m. It weighs 19.7 g and runs 10 hours on a charge.

A microphone that carries your name

The E-Ink screen shows whatever you upload from the Insta360 app — a logo, a channel name, a speaker ID — and keeps showing it with the transmitter powered off. On a set with several transmitters you stop guessing which one belongs to whom, and in shot the mic looks like part of the production rather than a grey box.

Three microphones, four pickup patterns

A three-mic array lets the transmitter change its polar pattern instead of you changing hardware: omnidirectional for vlogging and ambient sound, cardioid for a front-focused voice, super-directional when camera-mounted, figure-8 for a two-person interview. Two levels of AI noise cancelation run on a dedicated NPU chip, cutting wind and crowd without hollowing out the voice.

Records on its own, so nothing is lost

The transmitter is also a recorder: 32 GB of onboard memory holds up to 60 hours of 24-bit mono audio, split into 30-minute files so a long take never hits a size limit. In 32-bit float even an unexpected shout stays recoverable in post. Wireless interference or a camera failure then costs you nothing — the clean track is still in your pocket.

Wear it the way the shot needs

A clip and a magnet come in the box, so the transmitter goes on a lapel, behind a shirt, on a collar or straight onto a camera cold shoe. At 19.7 grams and 38 mm across it stays out of the frame and off the wearer's mind. A five-minute charge is worth an hour and a half of recording, a full charge takes about an hour, and one charge lasts up to ten hours of work — with the windshield fitted for outdoor takes.
