Wireless Audio with Direct Connection

Attach the standalone Mic Pro Transmitter to your clothing using a clip or magnet, and pair it directly with your Insta360 camera in a compatible setup. The built-in memory also allows you to create your own audio backup on the transmitter.

The Graphite Black version includes one transmitter without a receiver or charging case. It is designed as a standalone microphone for supported devices or as an additional transmitter for the Mic Pro system.

E-Ink Display and Mounting

Custom Theme on the E-Ink Display

The 1.22″ six-color E-Ink display can be customized in the Insta360 app to show your own image, logo, or graphic. The product photos show only examples of designs; you can set the display content to your liking.

The package includes a rear clip and a magnetic button for attaching the transmitter. The windshield helps reduce wind noise when shooting outdoors.

Interviews, Vlogs, and Content Creation

Three microphones and selectable recording modes

Three built-in microphones support omnidirectional, cardioid, super-directional, and figure-8 pickup patterns. Noise reduction utilizes the NPU processor; automatic gain control offers an overdrive prevention mode and dynamic volume leveling.

The transmitter can record audio independently as a backup to up to 32GB of storage. Recording supports both 24-bit depth and 32-bit floating point; recording duration depends on the selected mode and channels.

Direct Pairing and Connection Limitations

The manufacturer specifies direct Bluetooth connectivity between the transmitter and the Insta360 Luna Ultra, X5, X4 Air, Ace Pro 2, and GO Ultra cameras. For digital cameras, the Mic Pro receiver and a 3.5mm cable are used; the transmitter itself does not support direct connection to a camera. On a phone or tablet, Bluetooth can only be used with an app that supports an external microphone—the default Camera app does not receive audio via Bluetooth.

When connecting the transmitter to the receiver, the manufacturer specifies a range of up to 400 m in open space without obstacles or interference. A direct Bluetooth connection to the camera has a shorter range, depending on conditions and the orientation of the device.
