Standalone Hollyland Pyro Ultra RX receiver for an additional monitor in a Pyro Ultra system. It receives video up to 4K60, outputs it via HDMI 2.0 (up to 4K60) and 3G-SDI (up to 1080p60) and can send it to a computer over USB-C as a UVC device. It adapts the output resolution to the connected monitor and runs on a V-Mount battery or a 6–16 V DC supply.

Receiver for the Pyro Ultra system with HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs, Focus Mode and adaptive output resolution.

Even when transmitting 4K60, the receiver can send 1080p to a Full HD monitor while the source signal stays intact.
≥ 20 ms at 1080p25/30, ≥ 40 ms at 1080p60 and ≥ 45 ms at 4K60.
V-Mount battery 11.8–16.8 V or 6–16 V DC supply, 7 W power consumption.
The receiver links with the Pyro Ultra transmitter and sends the picture to a monitor via HDMI 2.0 or 3G-SDI. The output resolution adapts to the device automatically, so a UHD monitor gets 4K60 and a Full HD monitor gets 1080p.

Pyro Ultra transmits true 4K at 60 frames per second over HDMI at a bitrate of 12 Mbps. The TWiFi codec preserves detail, subtle gradations and depth.

During a brief signal interruption the last frame stays on the monitor. A custom 1920 × 1080 image (JPG under 1 MB named logo.jpg) can be set instead.

TWiFi combines the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands into a single composite link that is more resilient than conventional dual-band transmission. Automatic frequency hopping avoids congested channels without manual intervention.

Over USB-C (USB 3.0) the receiver connects to a computer as a UVC capture device up to 4K60. For live broadcasting it handles RTMP streaming up to 1080p60.

Pyro Ultra works with Pyro 5 and Pyro 7 in both Broadcast and non-Broadcast Mode, and with Pyro H and Vcore in non-Broadcast Mode. Pyro S currently supports non-Broadcast Mode only; Broadcast support will come with a firmware update.
