Point Tracking

With edelkrone's exclusive Point Tracking feature, you can lock the camera head to any point while the dolly is moving.

Separate buttons for body movements allow you to trigger movements without having to worry about controlling the head. The head automatically adjusts to keep the point firmly in the frame, creating amazing parallax effects.

Even when you move the system manually, the head remains locked (for quick body adjustments and framing checks). Normally, achieving such visuals would require advanced motion programming knowledge, hired experts, and hours of work.

Easy point setup: Use your camera to focus on the same point from two different angles—and you're done. It's that easy to set up a point with any edelkrone head. The app guides you step by step. The whole process takes just a few seconds.

Point tracking locks the camera to a fixed point in space, so the framing remains perfect even when someone else enters the shot. The camera doesn't "track pixels," it tracks the set position.

Trajectory accuracy
DollyONE is designed for precise linear and curved motion. Slight angular deviations from the intended trajectory may occur depending on the total load of the system and the characteristics of the surface you are working on. The device is not entirely suitable for repeatable motion certified for VFX.

Compatible surfaces
DollyONE works reliably on general flat surfaces, even if they have minor imperfections such as shallow joints, small cracks, or expansion joints.

It provides smooth motion without the need for additional stabilization beyond the standard post-production finishing that is typically applied to all motion control footage.
