Product description
The edelkrone N3 shutter release cable is designed for Olympus cameras with the multi-connector. It plugs into the 2.5 mm shutter trigger socket on motorized edelkrone devices such as HeadONE, SliderPLUS, DollyONE, JibONE or Tripod X, which then fire the shutter for a motion time-lapse. You can tell the right cable type by the camera's remote release terminal and by the list of compatible cameras in the description.
Shutter Release Cables enable triggering of your camera's shutter from an edelkrone device. To create a motion timelapse, it is necessary to have a shutter release cable that is compatible with your camera. The cameras this cable works with are listed below under Compatible cameras.
Where the cable connects
One end of the cable goes into the 2.5 mm shutter trigger socket on the edelkrone device, the other into the camera terminal. The device then fires the shots between the individual steps of the move, turning the motion of a slider, dolly or head into a motion time-lapse. These devices have a shutter trigger socket:
