Vespid Prime · Full Frame Cine
A natural perspective for most scenes
The Vespid 40mm T2.1 sits between classic 35 and 50mm lenses, providing a balanced, natural-looking view for dialogue, documentary and versatile production work.

A versatile 40mm foundation
The 40mm focal length is a natural, faithful choice for full-frame images. It gives enough context around the subject without feeling as wide as traditional wide-angle lenses.
Smooth focus transitions
A 10-blade iris and APO optical design help create natural defocus, control chromatic aberration and retain neutral colour reproduction. Fully manual operation supports repeatable focus pulls and exposure changes.
Precise, repeatable focusing
The focus ring provides 270° of travel for fine adjustments. Low-breathing internal mechanics keep the lens length constant while focusing and help a balanced rig stay stable.
Compact all-metal construction
The aluminium body weighs approximately 905 g, while the 46.5mm image circle covers full-frame and Vista Vision sensors. This is a fully manual cine lens without electronic communication or optical stabilization.
