Vespid Prime · Full Frame Cine

A longer focal length without excess weight

The Vespid Prime 100mm T2.1 brings stronger perspective compression in a compact all-metal body. For full-frame cine rigs it supplies 0.8 MOD gearing, 270° focus travel and compatibility with standard accessories.

100 mm: detailed work from a distance

The longer focal length suits portraits, detail shots and composition from farther away. The shared series construction supports consistent follow-focus and matte-box setups.

Smooth focus transitions

A 16-blade iris and APO optical design help create natural defocus, control chromatic aberration and retain neutral colour reproduction. Fully manual operation supports repeatable focus pulls and exposure changes.

Precise, repeatable focusing

The focus ring provides 270° of travel for fine adjustments. Low-breathing internal mechanics keep the lens length constant while focusing and help a balanced rig stay stable.

Compact all-metal construction

The aluminium body weighs approximately 945 g, while the 46.5mm image circle covers full-frame and Vista Vision sensors. This is a fully manual cine lens without electronic communication or optical stabilization.

Practical details retained

Vespid Prime covers a 46.5mm image circle for full-frame and Vista Vision sensors. Its compact dimensions and low weight support handheld, gimbal and drone work.

The optical design controls focus breathing: the front does not rotate and the lens length does not change while focusing. It has matched cine gears, an 80mm front, M77 thread, 16-blade iris, 0.8 MOD gearing and 270° focus rotation. The PL mount is interchangeable, and an optional rear magnetic filter provides a fast way to change image character.
