The DZOFILM Arles Prime 40 mm T1.4 is a fast cine lens with a PL mount and metric scale for full-frame and Vista Vision. It offers a 46.5 mm image circle, 0.4 m minimum focus, a 16-blade iris, and the uniform Arles mechanics for fast work on a cine rig.
Fast 40mm cine standard
The Arles Prime 40 mm T1.4 combines a natural perspective with a fast aperture and 46.5 mm VV / FF coverage. Its 13-element, 11-group optical design and floating elements help maintain performance from infinity through close focus.
The Arles series’ blue multi-layer coating helps control flares and stray light while preserving neutral color reproduction.

For a seamless workflow
A 16-blade iris, matched ring positions, and interchangeable metric/imperial scales simplify focal-length changes without rebuilding cine accessories. This configuration has a PL mount; the manufacturer states that the series also supports an optional EF mount and DZOFilm Koop magnetic rear filters.
The PL aluminum-alloy housing is 121 mm long and weighs approximately 1,633 g.
