The DZO Thypoch Ksana 35mm f/2 ASPH Leica M Silver Chrome Lens is a beautifully engineered 35mm prime lens designed for Leica M-mount systems and full-frame cameras. It delivers a natural, human-eye field of view, making it an ideal choice for portrait, street, documentary, and landscape photography where realism and storytelling matter.
Its bright f/2 aperture provides strong low-light performance while producing smooth subject separation and creamy background blur. The 10-blade circular aperture ensures soft, rounded bokeh highlights, enhancing the cinematic quality of every image.
Optically, the lens features an advanced 8-element, 5-group design, incorporating one aspherical (ASPH) element, one extra-low dispersion (ED) element, and two high-refractive-index (HRI) elements. This construction ensures sharp detail, controlled chromatic aberration, and excellent overall image clarity across the frame.
A key artistic feature is its Epoch Coating 84, which introduces subtle golden-purple reflections and a vintage-inspired tonal character reminiscent of 1980s film aesthetics. Combined with its crescent-shaped focus tab, the lens offers smooth, intuitive manual focusing for precise creative control.
