Desview Core OL16 MAX

The Desview Core OL16 MAX is a 16-inch AMOLED production monitor with 4K 3840 × 2400 resolution, 1200 nits peak brightness, a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Four 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, HDMI 2.0 input and output at 4K 60 Hz, 3D LUT, assist tools and two V-mount battery plates make it a natural fit for directing, DIT work and multi-camera shoots.

Core series performance on 16 inches. The 3840 × 2400 AMOLED display reveals the sharpness and subtle tonal gradations of 4K footage, and its 1200 nits keep it readable outdoors. The aluminum body with a handle, two V-mount plates and three 12 V power outputs runs an entire station.

HDMI 2.0, GPI and tally

The HDMI 2.0 input and loop-out carry 4K 60 Hz, RJ45 ports handle GPI and tally, and right next to them sit the 4-pin XLR power input and the locking DC jack.

Sunhood and case included

The quick-release sunhood shades the display outdoors, and the monitor travels in the included protective case with a carry handle.

1200 nits – visible in any light

The display stays readable even in direct sunlight, with no lost detail in highlights or shadows outdoors.

3D and creative LUTs

Loads 3D LUTs from Calman, ColourSpace and other tools as well as creative LUTs to check exposure, skin tones and the look right on set.

Waveform and vectorscope

A finer waveform, histogram and vectorscope help you keep exposure, contrast and white balance in check in real time.

Anamorphic de-squeeze

1.33×, 1.6×, 2.0× and custom ratios restore the correct proportions of anamorphic footage without an external converter.

Loop-out ports

HDMI and SDI loop-outs pass the signal on to further monitors, so directing, camera, lighting and sound crews all watch the same picture.

Pro assist tools on demand

Histogram, waveform and vectorscope combined in one view show brightness distribution, contrast and white balance in real time, so camera operators can quickly judge exposure compensation and highlight and shadow detail and avoid over- or underexposure.

One screen, every angle

HDMI and SDI loop inputs and outputs daisy-chain further monitors without quality loss, so every crew station watches a synchronized feed with no latency or mismatch. In multi-view mode, a single display also shows several sources at once.

Real-time anamorphic de-squeeze

De-squeeze factors of 1.33×, 1.6× and 2.0× plus custom ratios restore true widescreen proportions on set, improving framing accuracy without an external converter.

Broadcast-grade interfaces

HDMI 2.0 input and output at 4K 60 Hz plus four 3G-SDI inputs and outputs deliver robust, broadcast-grade connectivity for demanding 4K workflows.

Power in, power out

The monitor is powered via 4-pin XLR or a locking 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC jack, and from batteries on its two V-mount plates in the field. Three locking 12 V DC outputs power cameras, transmitters and other gear on set.

Aerospace aluminum, featherlight

The aerospace-grade aluminum alloy body increases structural strength while staying lightweight. It dissipates heat well, and the thin profile makes moving around the set easier.
