Every display is precisely calibrated at the factory for accurate color reproduction. It covers 100% of the Rec.709 color gamut, the standard of film and television production, and its 160° viewing angle keeps colors true even when viewed from the side. Professional ColourSpace calibration and 16.7 million colors deliver natural rendering of every shot.

Thin and light aluminum alloy body

The aluminum alloy body is only 13.2 mm thin and the whole monitor weighs 302 g. It adds no unnecessary load to your camera, gimbal or bag, and it is comfortable to work with when shooting handheld or on a lightweight stabilizer.

A monitor that stays out of the way

Thanks to its compact size and clear picture, the Blade 5 is a practical monitor for both camera and gimbal. You see the image larger than on the camera screen, check focus and framing more precisely, and the rig stays small and balanced.

4K transmission without quality loss

The monitor accepts HDMI signals up to 4K 60p and passes them on through the loop-out, for example to another monitor or a wireless transmitter. The image stays sharp and smooth along the whole chain. Customizable shortcut keys on the top edge hold your most used functions, and the NP-F battery holder on the back can be removed when not needed.

Custom 3D LUT styles

Load about 64 custom LUT files from a USB-C flash drive. You can preview different color styles instantly while shooting, compare them side by side and judge the final look of the shot before post-production.

A sunhood that comes off in a second

The detachable sunhood goes on and comes off in a second. When shooting outdoors it blocks side light that would otherwise hit the screen, so the image stays easy to read.

Tools for precise exposure

The monitoring assist functions make it easier to control exposure and brightness while shooting. They help you judge contrast, exposure compensation and white balance, so shooting is faster and the final footage better.
