Portkeys LH5C

Portkeys LH5C is a lightweight 5.4-inch touchscreen on-camera monitor with 800-nit brightness, accurate 10-bit display and wired control of supported cameras. It accepts video up to DCI 4K30 over HDMI, provides HDMI output and includes professional tools for checking focus, exposure and colour while shooting.

The 1920 × 1152 display delivers Rec.709 colour and covers 85% DCI-P3. Custom 3D LUTs can be monitored on screen and applied to the HDMI output. The monitor weighs only 178 g and can be powered by a Sony NP-F battery or USB-C.

Control the camera directly from the monitor

The MOVNORM OS touchscreen interface can control recording, aperture, shutter, ISO, white balance, focus and other functions on supported cameras. Available controls depend on the camera model. Selected Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, Blackmagic Design and Z CAM cameras are supported.

Accurate image and fast colour monitoring

The 10-bit panel (8-bit + 2 FRC) offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 80° viewing angle in every direction and colour coverage suited to professional production. Its 800-nit brightness and supplied sun hood make outdoor monitoring easier.

Up to 20 custom 3D LUTs can be loaded from a USB drive. A LUT may be displayed only on the monitor or applied to the HDMI output for an external recorder, director or client display.

Exposure, focus and composition tools

Monitoring tools include RGB and Luma waveform, histogram, audio meters, zebra, ARRI False Color, focus peaking, image magnification, safety areas, guide frames and anamorphic de-squeeze. Choose a preset ratio or enter a custom value from 0.25× to 4.00×.

Freeze Frame and image overlay

A reference frame can be stored on a USB drive and overlaid transparently on the live image. This is useful for matching composition, actor positions, product shots and scene continuity.

HDMI input and output

The HDMI input accepts signals up to DCI 4K30 and Full HD 60p. HDMI output is available up to 1080p60. A 3.5mm headphone output provides audio monitoring, USB-A is used for LUTs and reference frames, and the camera-control port accepts the appropriate control cable.

Lightweight body and flexible power

The rugged ABS and PC housing weighs only 178 g. A built-in Sony NP-F plate and 5 V USB-C power input provide flexible power options. Power draw is approximately 7.5 W, while 1/4"-20 mounting threads with anti-twist locating holes simplify installation on a camera, cage or gimbal.
