Datavideo PTR-10 MARK II Robotic Pan Tilt Head

The Datavideo PTR-10 MARK II turns a compact camcorder or box camera into a remotely controlled camera system. It supports a camera payload up to 4 kg, passes video over HDMI or SDI, and provides 340° pan and ±45° tilt. Control it by IR, Sony VISCA, RS-422 or DVIP; up to 50 stored positions make it easier to repeat shots in a studio or multi-camera production.

PTR-10 MARK II remotely controls camera pan and tilt. It supports payloads up to 4 kg, moves through 340°/±45°, and stores up to 50 positions; video passes through HDMI or SDI.

VIDEO AND REMOTE-CONTROL CONNECTIONS

Datavideo’s diagram shows SDI video from the PTR-10 MARK II to an SE-3200 switcher and movement control from an RMC-180 over RS-422. The illustrated route uses a CB-67/CB-68 hybrid cable.

REPEATABLE CAMERA POSITIONS

Store up to 50 pan/tilt positions and recall them from the IR remote or a compatible controller.

DC CAMERA POWER OUTPUT

The selectable DC output supplies 7.4 / 8.4 / 10 / 12 V at up to 24 W. The head requires 12–18 V DC; current draw depends on whether it also powers a camera.

ZOOM CONTROL WITH ZEK-1

The separately sold ZEK-1 kit reads movement from a compatible zoom ring and lets you store and recall zoom positions.
