Cartoni Focus 18 EFP ALU System GS

The Cartoni Focus 18 system combines the Focus 18 fluid head with a 1-stage aluminium EFP 100 tripod and a ground spreader; a soft bag is included. It carries cameras up to 21 kg, the working height is 83–160 cm and the complete system weighs 8 kg. It suits documentary shooters and news crews working with digital ENG cameras from Blackmagic Design, Canon, Sony and other brands.

Built of magnesium alloy and aluminium, the Focus 18 fluid head offers infinitely adjustable damping on pan and tilt and a patented, continuously variable counterbalance with an easily readable numerical scale.

Continuous drag and counterbalance

Focus 18 is built for today’s digital ENG cameras: continuous fluid drag on both axes and a patented variable counterbalance keep the shot steady even in slow moves.

Focus 18 fluid head

The 100 mm bowl fits all tripods with a 100 mm bowl; the AH869 adapter mounts it on the Cartoni P20 pedestal as well.

EFP 100 tripod

Elastic washers and a self-adjusting steel connection virtually eliminate torque even with heavy drag; height is set with fast clamps with a safety lock.

Ground spreader

The standard Cartoni ground spreader for Red Lock, SDS and EFP tripods connects to the ball foot couplings of the legs.

Soft bag

A light soft bag for carrying the whole system.
