Cartoni Focus 18 SDS ALU System

The Cartoni Focus 18 system combines the Focus 18 fluid head with a 2-stage aluminium SDS 100 tripod and a Smart Lock spreader; a padded bag is included. It carries cameras up to 21 kg, the working height is 67.5–178.5 cm and the complete system weighs 8.3 kg. It suits documentary shooters and news crews working with digital ENG cameras from Blackmagic Design, Canon, Sony and other brands.

Built of magnesium alloy and aluminium, the Focus 18 fluid head offers infinitely adjustable damping on pan and tilt and a patented, continuously variable counterbalance with an easily readable numerical scale.

The Smart Deployment System, covered by three patents, adjusts both leg stages with a single lever on the middle stage; six telescopic aluminium tubes give outstanding torsional rigidity.

Smart Lock spreader

The built-in composite spreader weighs only 460 g; a patented no-bind mechanism spreads and collapses it quickly, and a strap to the base folds the system in one move.

Padded bag

A fully padded soft bag for 2-stage systems.
