Accurate picture with 3D LUTs

The built-in 33 point 3D LUT helps calibrate or creatively adjust the HDMI output: apply custom looks, color and gamma changes in realtime. LUTs can also be applied to the SDI loop output, turning the converter into a 3D LUT processor. LUT files are compatible with DaVinci Resolve.

HDMI Instant Lock

HDMI televisions and projectors take a long time to lock onto a new signal. HDMI Instant Lock continuously sends an active HDMI signal to the display, so when you switch to a device of the same format the picture appears within a single frame – without glitches.

Audio from SDI to HDMI, analog and AES/EBU

The converter de-embeds the SDI audio to HDMI, to two channels of balanced analog audio on 1/4 inch jacks or to digital AES/EBU. Sampling at 48 kHz and 24 bit matches the television standard.

Functions are selected with mini switches using the diagram printed on the converter, so you never have to look for the manual. Over USB and the utility for macOS and Windows, settings can be changed from a computer and new software installed.

The Mini Converter range of converters is built for 24/7 operation: the compact metal body fits into a studio rack, an outside broadcast truck or a live sports event outdoors. The connections are easy to reach and use standard cables.

About the Mini Converter range

The Mini Converter range is designed for professional broadcast, post-production and AV installations. A compact metal chassis, high-quality connectors and standard cabling make it dependable in studios, control rooms and mobile systems.

Core settings are selected with mini switches using the diagram printed on the unit, while USB is used for configuration and updates. The converter handles supported formats automatically and keeps picture and sound stable throughout the signal chain.
