Blackmagic Design Media Dock

The Blackmagic Media Dock is a 2U rack dock for up to three removable Blackmagic Media Modules from URSA Cine cameras. Four 10G Ethernet ports let you connect up to four edit stations directly, the HDMI output shows the storage status and sync with Blackmagic Cloud connects the team across locations. Editing and grading start without copying files from the camera.

Modules of the same series as in URSA Cine cameras go into the dock and are immediately shared with editors and colorists.

From the camera straight to post production

Remove the module from the URSA Cine, place it in the dock and editors and colorists work on it right away, without copying files.

Four 10G Ethernet ports

Four independent ports sustain full 10G speed even when connected to different computers. Edit stations can be connected directly or through a switch.

Hot-swap modules

The modules are swappable during operation and an LED ring around each bay shows reading and writing.

For DIT and post production

The dock suits a DIT cart for grading right on set: multiple DaVinci Resolve workstations access the recorded files instantly. After the shoot you move the module to post production.

Modules with four M.2 cards

Every module has four M.2 memory cards in RAID 0 and its own heat sink. The dock holds up to three modules and LED rings around the bays show reading and writing.
