Blackmagic Design Media Module 8TB

The Blackmagic Media Module 8TB is a high performance internal module with 8 TB capacity for recording and transferring high resolution 12 bit Blackmagic RAW files. It installs in a Blackmagic URSA Cine camera, where you can reach the files through the camera Ethernet port, or it moves to a Blackmagic Media Dock. Recording to the 8TB module gives you over 4 hours of Blackmagic RAW in 12K or 20 hours in 4K.

The module installs directly in the URSA Cine and stores high resolution 12 bit Blackmagic RAW files – over 4 hours of recording in 12K, 20 hours in 4K. It is formatted in the camera using the Blackmagic format.

From camera to post production

After removal from the camera the module goes into a Blackmagic Media Dock. The dock holds up to three modules and offers high speed Ethernet for network media sharing and syncing with Blackmagic Cloud, so editors and colorists can work on the same material at the same time.
