Ulanzi MCR-02 Multifunctional High-Speed Card Reader Case

The Ulanzi MCR-02 (X056) combines a high-speed CFexpress Type B and SD card reader with a durable travel case for storage media. Transfer speeds via USB 3.2 Gen 2 reach up to 10 Gb/s, allowing you to quickly back up photos and videos to a computer, tablet, or phone with a USB-C port.

A single compact device handles both data transfer and secure card storage. The MCR-02 features a card reader slot for CFexpress Type B and SD cards, an integrated USB-C cable, and separate storage compartments for additional cards, a Nano SIM, and the included SIM ejector tool.

Fast Transfer Without Delays

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 controller offers a throughput of up to 10 Gb/s. CFexpress Type B cards can be read at speeds of up to 1000 MB/s, SD 4.0 UHS-II cards at up to 312 MB/s, and compatible microSD cards via the included adapter at up to 300 MB/s. When multiple media cards are inserted simultaneously, the device prioritizes CFexpress.

Organized Card Storage

The dual-sided layout accommodates 2 CFexpress Type B cards, 4 SD cards, 4 microSD cards, and 4 Nano SIM cards. The cards have their own designated slots, so they don’t shift around freely in your bag while traveling and are quickly accessible.

For the Field and the Studio

The aluminum body is complemented by ABS and a silicone protective case. The IP54-rated design limits the ingress of dust and splashing water. A carabiner allows you to attach the reader to a backpack or bag, while the built-in USB-C cable remains stored directly inside the body.
