Tilta XLR Extension Bracket for Canon C50 - Black

The Tilta XLR extension bracket mounts onto the original XLR handle of the Canon EOS C50 and adds a NATO rail and a cold shoe to it. The handle remains fully functional including its microphone inputs, yet it can carry a monitor, microphone or LED light. The bracket attaches at two points, is made of aluminium alloy and stainless steel, and is part of the Base Kit of the TA-T93 series.

Tilta XLR Extension Bracket for Canon C50 solves a simple problem: the original Canon C50 XLR handle has microphone inputs but no place for accessories. The bracket sits on the handle, attaches at two points and offers a NATO rail and a cold shoe — without modifying the handle and without losing its function.

NATO rail and cold shoe on the XLR handle

The bracket carries an integrated NATO rail and a cold shoe. The NATO rail takes a monitor on an articulating arm or a NATO clamp; the cold shoe takes a microphone, a wireless microphone receiver or a small LED light. Everything sits above the camera, out of the way of your hand and the lens, and the XLR inputs of the handle stay free.

Two-point attachment

The bracket attaches to the original Canon XLR handle at two points, so it neither rotates nor wobbles on it, even with a monitor hanging from it. The construction is aluminium alloy with stainless steel screws — light but rigid. It mounts without modifying the handle and comes off just as quickly when you need the handle bare.

The Tilta cage system

A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
