Four filters for one shoot

The kit holds a polarizer filter and three neutral-density filters — ND8, ND16 and ND32. That covers an ordinary day, from diffuse light to midday sun on snow or water.

An ND filter sorts the exposure

On the left the shot with an ND filter, on the right without: with no filter the camera has to shorten the shutter in sunlight and motion turns hard. With an ND the shutter stays at twice the frame rate and movement keeps its natural blur.

The polarizer filter takes reflections away

Polarisation removes the reflection from a windscreen, a water surface and car paint, and the sky darkens. Colours gain a depth that post-production cannot put back.

Twist to mount

The filter twists straight onto the Action 6 lens — fitting and removing it works one-handed, even with the camera in the cage.

In a filter case

The kit arrives in a flat case with a seat for each of the four filters. Nothing gets scratched in a bag and you can see at a glance which filter is on the camera.

Worth knowing

The filters are built for the DJI Osmo Action 6 lens. They do not fit the Action 5 Pro, Action 4 or Action 3.

The manufacturer publishes neither dimensions nor weight for the filters, so they are not listed in the specification.
