Two batteries in the set

Besides the charging unit, this set contains two batteries (Tilta EN-EL15C, 2 400 mAh) and a USB-C cable. Every battery has its own USB-C input, so it can be topped up without the station, and a decoding chip makes sure the camera reports the charge level and raises no unapproved-battery warning. On one charge it lasts 352 stills or two hours of video, according to the manufacturer.

45 W charging: four batteries in three hours

The station is powered over USB-C and draws up to 45 W. That charges four EN-EL15c batteries in about three hours — 68 % faster than a charger with a single slot, according to the manufacturer. Full speed needs a 45 W or stronger PD power source and a cable rated for it; a weaker source still works, it just takes longer. The input accepts 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A and 15 V/3 A.

The state of every battery at a glance

Four status indicators sit above the slots, one for each position. Green means 80–100 % charge, amber 30–80 % and red below 30 %. When you insert a battery the indicators show its level and go out after about five seconds, so the station does not glow away inside your bag.

Almost no drain in sleep mode

In sleep mode the station's own draw falls to as little as 0.1 mA, so batteries left in the station do not quietly run flat and need not be topped up again before a trip. Even so, the manufacturer advises against leaving the station unused for more than three months.

Four slots: charger and case in one

The station holds four EN-EL15c batteries at once and charges them simultaneously, drawing up to 45 W in total. It doubles as a case — the batteries clip into one block instead of rattling around the bag. Four full batteries are good for more than 13 hours of video or about 2,400 stills, according to the manufacturer.

Fits the side pocket of a gear bag

The body is moulded from PC + ABS with a matte finish in Tilta's signature style. The station measures 122 × 57 × 77 mm and weighs 171 grams, so it slips into the side pocket of a bag without adding noticeable weight. It has no internal battery — it charges only while connected to an external power source.

According to the manufacturer the station takes Nikon EN-EL15c batteries, Tilta batteries and most third-party EN-EL15c batteries.
