The Tilta Cable Management Storage Bin is a cable storage bin for the Boulder Camera Cart. Instead of being coiled on the tray or inside a case, the cables hang beneath the top tray, where they are out of the way, do not snag on the drawer or the wheels, and still stay visible and reachable without searching.
The bin has two hooks that hang it on the frame of the Boulder cart directly beneath the top tray. It interferes with neither the drawer nor the rolling of the cart and takes up no space on the trays. The hooks are secured with the included 2.5mm Allen key, so the bin stays on the frame even when rolling over rough ground — and comes off just as quickly when the cart folds into its transport shape.
The front of the bin is open and lined along its full length with slots where cables hang side by side — power, video, audio and data, each in its own slot. A cable comes out in one motion without untangling the others; the bin stays airy and the contents visible. The bottom also holds small tools and adapters. The whole bin is aluminum alloy with a black finish.
The Boulder Camera Cart is an aluminum camera cart with a 400 kg payload that assembles without tools and folds into a case with its own wheels after the shoot. The posts are 40mm speed rails, the crossbars follow the NATO and Manfrotto standards and the trays carry 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads — that is where every accessory of the Boulder family mounts, including this one.
