The Tilta MB-T12-85 Clamp-On Adapter (85mm) is a lightweight, precision-machined aluminum ring that lets you securely clamp the carbon-fiber Tilta MB-T12 4×5.65″ matte box directly onto any lens with an 85mm outer barrel diameter – perfect for compact cinema primes and zooms that don’t have 114mm or 110mm fronts.

Designed exclusively for the Tilta MB-T12 matte box, the MB-T12-85 adapter converts the matte box from its native 114mm rubber donut or rod-mounted back to a fast, tool-free 85mm clamp-on system. The adapter slides into the matte box’s keyhole slots and locks with two captive thumbscrews, then clamps firmly around the lens front using a large, glove-friendly rear thumbscrew. CNC-machined from aluminum with stainless-steel hardware, it maintains perfect alignment, prevents light leaks and adds almost no extra weight or bulk. Ideal for lenses such as Sigma Cine 18-35/50-100 T2, Tokina Cinema Vista 85mm T1.5 (non-Vista), Zeiss CP.3 85mm T2.1, and many adapted stills lenses with 85mm fronts.
