Thypoch Simera 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. Type II is a full-frame manual lens for Leica M-mount rangefinder cameras, here in black. The classic 35mm focal length with a fast f/1.4 aperture channels the aesthetics of 1950s lenses — an aluminium alloy body, an engraved depth-of-field scale with red dots and precise mechanics. The Type II version adds a new crescent-shaped focus tab for comfortable one-finger focusing.

The optical formula of 9 elements in 5 groups with an aspherical element and a floating group stays sharp across the whole focusing range — from infinity down to 0.45 m (rangefinder coupled from 0.7 m, closer via live view).
