Natural perspective, expressive light

This official Simera 35mm sample demonstrates urban geometry, shadow and a figure within the environment. The f/1.4 aperture supports lower-light work, while fourteen blades help create smooth out-of-focus transitions.

Resolution from close focus to infinity

A floating optical group helps maintain resolution throughout the focusing range. The design uses one aspherical and three HRI elements to control field curvature and spherical aberration; close focus is 0.45m.

Clicked or de-clicked aperture

Clicked or de-clicked aperture

Sun and moon symbols mark the switch between clicked operation for stills and smooth de-clicked movement for video. Focus and aperture remain fully manual, and the lens has no electronic contacts.
