The Telycam Vision+ 4KZ combines detailed UHD imaging, long-range optical zoom, and a modern IP workflow in a compact box-camera body. Its 1/1.8-inch 9MP CMOS sensor delivers up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 fps via HDMI 2.0. The camera is well suited to studios, live events, conference spaces, houses of worship, and virtual production.
Detailed 4K UHD Imaging
Advanced image processing produces sharp, natural-looking footage with a high level of detail, even in challenging lighting conditions. The camera can be integrated into both conventional HDMI workflows and IP-based productions.
Fast On-Camera Setup
The side control panel provides quick access to the camera's IP address and essential image parameters without navigating through the network interface. This simplifies installation and makes adjustments during production faster.
One Camera, Two Shots
When outputting at 1080p or lower, the IP substream can provide a separate CROP output. A single camera can therefore deliver both a wide shot and a tighter view, with switching available in HDMI or USB workflows.
CROP mode offers two intelligent functions. Auto Framing dynamically adjusts the composition to keep the subject properly framed. Auto Tracking identifies and follows the subject automatically, even in more complex environments.
Consistent Colour for Multi-Camera Production
The Vision+ 4KZ uses the same type of lens, sensor, and image processor as the Vision+ 4KN 20X PTZ camera. Fixed and PTZ cameras can therefore deliver consistent colour and more natural transitions between shots within the same production.
20× Optical Zoom
The 6.25–112.5 mm lens covers a horizontal field of view from 61° to 3.5°. An advanced focusing algorithm helps maintain fast, accurate focus while zooming and when subjects move within the scene.
Local Recording and Tally Indication
A microSD card slot enables local recording for network-failure backup, quick event review, or later upload to a cloud platform. The integrated tally light works with NDI and clearly indicates Program and Preview status without requiring a separate tally system.
Professional Audio and Flexible Outputs
Audio connections include a 3.5mm stereo line input and Mini XLR with +48 V phantom power. Alongside NDI® HX3, the camera provides simultaneous video output over HDMI 2.0 and can also connect over USB 2.0 as a high-quality webcam. According to the manufacturer, USB and NDI output cannot be used simultaneously.
Easy Network Deployment and Cloud Control
SSDP support simplifies discovery of the camera's IP address on a local network, particularly in multi-camera installations. FreeD sends position, zoom, and focus data to compatible virtual-set systems. Newer units also support Telycam Iris integration for browser-based remote access, AI tracking, framing, and centralised management.
According to Telycam, Iris integration is supported on units shipped from 1 January 2026.
