The S-4609 SDI Audio De-Embedder is a compact and rugged audio converter designed for professional broadcast and field production environments. Supporting 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals up to 3Gb/s, this mini converter can de-embed any two audio channels from the first eight channels embedded in an SDI feed. It provides flexible output options including AES/EBU digital audio and balanced 6.35mm analog audio, making it suitable for a wide range of audio processing and monitoring applications.

Built with a heavy-duty aluminum housing, the S-4609 is both durable and portable. It features two SDI loop outputs for easy signal pass-through, and power/input/output status indicators for quick operational checks. The device accepts 6–18V DC pole-tap power input, enabling integration with various power sources in field setups. Bottom screw threads facilitate secure installation on poles or rigs.
