The SmallRig FreeRover Carbon Fiber Photo Tripod Kit AP-100 4353 is a compact carbon fiber tripod designed specifically for photographers on the go. The legs feature a FreeSpeed-rotate quick-release design that allows for easy and efficient setup by tightening a single knob to secure all four sections. The use of 1.2 mm thick carbon fiber material for the legs and center post ensures a lightweight construction without compromising stability or load capacity. The centre column is equipped with a quick-release lever for quick height adjustment. The bottom of the center post is equipped with a quick-release Allen key hook that allows convenient attachment and detachment of camera equipment. In addition, the center column features a removable short post function that provides a minimum height of 13 cm for shooting from small angles. The tripod has an inverted ball head which, due to its recessed design, allows for a more compact and portable design when folded.

The ball head also offers vertical shooting for different shooting scenarios. The ball head's quick release plate features a rotating disc design with no visible knobs, providing a sleek and minimalist look while allowing for the use of different sizes of Arca-Swiss quick release plates. The ball head is secured with a quick release lever that allows photographers to quickly and conveniently lock the ball head in place. With a load capacity of up to 8 kg, the ball head can hold lenses ranging from medium to telephoto. The tripod's leg attachment points feature 1/4"-20 threaded extension holes that allow attachment of accessories such as a magic arm, microphone, monitor or image transmitter.
