The SKAARHOJ 3 M/E Mega Panel Vela is an advanced, enterprise-level live production control surface designed for high-end broadcast studios, OB vans, and large event environments. Featuring a fully modular architecture, the Vela combines multiple SKAARHOJ control panels into a single, unified system, giving operators comprehensive control over switching, PTZ cameras, audio mixing, and device routing.

This powerful configuration includes two T-Block Left modules, one T-Block Right module, six Master Key 48 modules, two Quick Shot modules, a PTZ View module, and a dedicated audio module—all integrated into a robust frame system. The panel delivers three independent M/E (Mix Effect) banks, each with 24 crosspoints and its own transition module, enabling simultaneous multi-layer production control.

Each module is powered by SKAARHOJ’s Blue Pill Inside technology, allowing seamless communication with a wide range of third-party systems such as ATEM, vMix, TriCaster, Kairos, AMPP, and Carbonite. Operators benefit from high-quality NKK buttons, programmable four-way keys with OLED displays, RGB multi-level metering LEDs, precision encoders, and T-bars for smooth transitions.

The inclusion of PTZ View and audio modules expands functionality beyond switching, providing direct camera control via joystick and integrated audio mixing capabilities. All modules connect via Gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation and reducing cable complexity by combining power and data into a single infrastructure.

Running on skaarOS, the Vela panel is fully customizable, allowing users to tailor layouts, workflows, and device mappings to meet the specific needs of any production environment—from broadcast studios to live events and hybrid productions.
