The SKP 500 G4 is a plug-on transmitter with 48 V phantom power, so it is not only dynamic microphones that go wireless but condensers too — a shotgun on a boom, for instance. Output power switches between 10, 30 and 50 mW to suit the location.

The 500P series for film and television

The 500P system has a wider tuning range — up to 88 MHz carrying as many as 32 parallel channels — and higher output power, switchable between 10, 30 and 50 mW. That difference shows where the spectrum is crowded and where a take cannot be repeated.
