The Sennheiser MKE 200 is a lightweight supercardioid microphone for creators who want clearer speech and less distracting off-axis sound. Slide it into a camera shoe or mobile rig, choose the correct supplied cable and start recording.

Directional pickup for voices and action in front of the camera

The supercardioid capsule focuses on the source in front of the microphone while reducing some ambient sound from the sides. Its 40 Hz to 20 kHz response covers speech and everyday ambience, while the 120 dB maximum SPL handles louder scenes.

Wind and handling protection built into the body

The capsule is acoustically isolated from the housing by an internal suspension that reduces camera-handling noise. Integrated mesh controls light wind, while the supplied MZH 200 furry windshield adds protection for more demanding outdoor shooting.

One microphone for cameras and phones

The locking microphone socket protects the cable from accidental removal. The CL 35 TRS cable is intended for cameras with a 3.5 mm microphone input, while the CL 35 TRRS connects compatible mobile devices. The MKE 200 draws 2–10 V plug-in power from the connected device.
