Saramonic WiTalk9 Link Cable Kit

The Saramonic WiTalk9 Link Cable Kit is the LINK cable set for WiTalk9 and WiTalk9 SE headsets: a 3.5 mm TRRS to TRRS cable, a 3.5 mm TRRS to USB-A sound card and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. It cascades up to four WiTalk9 kits for 30 people, connects a headset to a phone or computer for calls over Zoom or Teams, and enables monitoring at a mixing desk. The wired LINK function works only with the Saramonic cable.

Cascade up to 30 people

The cable links the master headset of one kit to any remote headset of another. Cascading is switched on by holding the ENC button on both headsets for 3 seconds until the purple light comes on. Up to four WiTalk9 kits connect this way for 30 people; place the two linked headsets in the middle of the area, ideally on a stand. With WiTalk9 SE, two kits cascade for 9 people.

Remote calls and monitoring

Through the sound card and the USB-C adapter a headset connects to a phone or computer, bringing the whole team into a call in Zoom, Teams or another app. The 3.5 mm cable connects the headset to a device with a TRRS jack, such as a desk for monitoring. With phones, the USB-C adapter gives the more reliable connection.

Additional information

The kit extends the Saramonic WiTalk9 system with cascading of several kits, monitoring and remote communication through a phone or computer. A small external earpiece can also be plugged into the LINK port when an ear cushion is uncomfortable in the heat or under a helmet; the audio then goes to one ear only.
