The SKAARHOJ Rack Fusion Live with Hall Effect Joystick and Blue Pill Inside is a professional rack-mounted PTZ camera switcher designed for broadcast control rooms, OB vans, and live production environments. Built on SKAARHOJ’s Blue Pill Inside architecture with skaarOS, it provides powerful IP-based control over multiple PTZ camera systems from different manufacturers, including seamless integration with platforms like vMix, Blackmagic Design ATEM, and TriCaster workflows.
At its core, the unit features a high-precision Hall-effect 3-axis joystick that minimizes drift and ensures smooth, accurate camera movement. This is complemented by a transition fader with RGB LED position feedback, a dedicated M/E (Mix Effects) control section, and a custom 9-key bus row for fast switching and routing operations.
The control surface includes four-way programmable buttons with OLED legends, backlit encoder knobs with OLED labeling, and RGB multi-level LED indicators. These provide clear visual feedback for camera selection, presets, and live production status, allowing operators to manage complex multi-camera setups efficiently.
Designed for flexibility, the Rack Fusion Live can be used either as a 19” rack-mounted unit or as a desktop controller. It supports both Power over Ethernet (PoE) and 12V DC power input, enabling simple installation in both fixed and mobile production environments.
