Nikon COOLPIX P1100

The COOLPIX P1100 is a compact digital camera with a 125x NIKKOR optical zoom covering focal lengths of 24–3,000 mm (35 mm equivalent). With Dynamic Fine Zoom it reaches up to 250x (6,000 mm), capturing the craters of the Moon, distant birds and aircraft, and it records 4K UHD video. Dedicated Bird-watching, Moon and Fireworks modes make demanding subjects easier.

Super-telephoto 24–3,000 mm

Designed for photography enthusiasts, it lets you capture high-quality images with an improved super-telephoto lens. The COOLPIX P1100 is based on the previous COOLPIX P1000 but offers more advanced features. Its 125x optical zoom covers a focal length range of 24–3,000 mm, providing versatility from wide-angle to super-telephoto. For those who need even more reach, Dynamic Fine Zoom extends the range to 250x (6,000 mm equivalent).

Dual Detect vibration reduction

Like the COOLPIX P1000, the COOLPIX P1100 combines Nikon’s powerful EXPEED image processing and a NIKKOR lens to deliver excellent image quality even at extreme zoom settings. The Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) system provides stabilisation equivalent to 4 stops, counteracting camera shake and ensuring sharp, detailed results – even when shooting distant subjects such as birds or objects in the night sky handheld.

Bird-watching mode and better handling

In addition to the extended zoom, the COOLPIX P1100 offers greater flexibility with selectable AF-area modes in Bird-watching mode, allowing more precise composition. Functions can also be assigned to the Fn1/Fn2 buttons on the optional ML-L7 remote control. A large grip and side zoom control make handheld shooting easier.

4K video at super-telephoto

For video enthusiasts, the COOLPIX P1100 offers 4K UHD/30p recording as well as super time-lapse and time-lapse movies. With its versatility and compatibility with a wide range of accessories, this camera lets you push creative boundaries and experiment with different imaging options.
