Meike FF-Prime Cine 135mm T2.4 Lens (RF)

This is Meike’s seventh FF cine lens and it now joins the FF cine lens family.  It covers an image circle of 45mm. It is available in either PL, Canon EF, Canon RF, Sony E, and Panasonic L mounts. It has industry-standard 0.8mm pitch gears on the focus and aperture ring.The lens design of the Meike 135mm T2.4 FF-Prime consists of 12 elements in 8 groups.The aperture mechanism consists of 17 aperture blades. The minimum focus distance is 100cm.

A long cine prime with a 45 mm image circle

The Meike 135mm T2.4 belongs to the FF-Prime series and is computed for full-frame cine cameras — its 45 mm image circle covers open gate. The long focal length combined with T2.4 gives very shallow depth of field and the compressed perspective that suits a cinematic image.

Optics and iris

The 12-element, 8-group design holds its rendering across the whole image circle. A 17-blade iris stays essentially circular throughout the range, so out-of-focus highlights remain round even stopped down — essential in a cine lens.

On-set ergonomics

Focus and iris rings carry standard 0.8 MOD gearing, so any common follow focus fits. The front diameter is consistent across the series, letting you swap lenses in a mattebox without rerigging. Minimum focusing distance 1 m, filter thread 82 mm, weight 1.12 kg.
