The Manfrotto MH057A5 is a professional virtual reality and panoramic head built around the legendary 300N rotation unit, featuring sliding horizontal and vertical plates with laser-engraved scales for precise nodal-point alignment, a quick-release elbow bracket for instant portrait orientation and 360° click-stop-free panning.

The MH057A5 combines the ultra-smooth 300N panoramic base (360° rotation with independent lock) with two calibrated sliding plates that allow millimeter-accurate positioning of the camera’s nodal point over the rotation axis in both landscape and portrait orientations. The included quick-release elbow bracket lets you flip instantly from horizontal to vertical stitching rows without losing alignment. Laser-engraved index rules on every axis make repositioning repeatable, while the variable 7-step tilt drag and robust aluminum construction ensure rock-solid performance with up to 5 kg of camera and lens. Perfect for 35 mm DSLRs/mirrorless and lenses from ultra-wide to normal focal lengths.
