Manfrotto MVH502A,546BK-1 is a complete professional aluminium video system for smooth pan-and-tilt work with camcorders, HDSLR and mirrorless rigs. It combines the MVH502A fluid head with a fixed 4 kg counterbalance, 75 mm half ball, long 504PLONG plate and two Easy Link points with the rigid twin-leg 546B tripod, telescopic mid-level spreader, spiked feet with rubber overshoes and a padded carry bag.

Smooth camera movement and stable support on location
The MVH502A,546BK-1 combines the 502 fluid head with a 75 mm half ball, the rigid 546B twin-leg tripod with an adjustable mid-level spreader, the 504PLONG sliding plate and a padded carry bag. It is an exact matched system for camcorders, HDSLR and interchangeable-lens video rigs.

Fluid control built for repeatable moves
The included MVH502A head provides continuously adjustable drag on both pan and tilt. Its fixed balance spring is tuned for a 4 kg camera configuration at a 55 mm centre of gravity, while the sliding plate and independent locks help secure and balance different camera builds.
The head pans through 360° and tilts from −80° to +90°. The pan bar can be mounted on either side, and the illuminated-free mechanical bubble level keeps setup straightforward without batteries.
Rigid 546B legs with a true mid-level spreader
The aluminium 546B uses a two-stage, three-section twin-leg design for torsional rigidity. Its telescopic mid-level spreader lets each leg angle be adjusted without relying on a flat floor, so the system remains practical in studios, venues and uneven locations.
Flip locks speed deployment. Spiked feet grip rough ground, while the fitted rubber overshoes protect smooth surfaces. The 75 mm bowl mates directly with the head and is compatible with selected Manfrotto video dollies.
Balance the complete camera rig, not only the body
The supplied 504PLONG plate gives extra fore-and-aft travel for rigs with long lenses, batteries, monitors or matte boxes. The 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch camera screws and secondary safety release support fast changes while helping prevent an accidental slide-off.
Once shooting is finished, the complete head-and-tripod system folds to 83 cm and travels in the supplied padded bag. This is the BK-1 package with the 546B mid-level spreader—not the GB-1 ground-spreader configuration.
