Manfrotto Befree Advanced AS Twist Carbon is a lightweight travel tripod with carbon-fibre legs and an Advanced 494 ball head for advanced photographers and mirrorless cameras. It weighs only 1.27 kg, folds to 41 cm, reaches 150 cm and safely supports 9 kg under UNI/PdR 105:2021. Its Arca-compatible holder with 200PL-PRO plate, fast twist locks, three leg angles and Easy Link make it a flexible support for landscapes, city work and travel portraits.

Ready with one twist
The compact twist-lock mechanism has no protruding levers, enabling rapid setup and smooth storage. Four sections and independent 22°, 54° and 89° leg angles adapt to stairs, rocks and low viewpoints.
Precise three-control composition
The aluminium Advanced 494 ball head separates ball lock, friction adjustment and panoramic lock. Its Arca-compatible holder speeds transitions between a camera, L bracket, cage or telephoto collar.

Carbon legs reduce carrying weight while maintaining rigidity, the magnesium spider keeps the kit secure, and Easy Link accepts an arm, light or reflector. The rapid centre column can be inverted for low-angle work.
