The Manfrotto Befree 2n1 Aluminum Travel Tripod Kit (1.66 kg) is the ultimate all-in-one hybrid solution for traveling photographers, combining a compact 4-section tripod (151 cm max height, 40 cm folded) with a detachable full-size monopod (156 cm, 5 kg payload) via a quick-join mechanism; featuring QPL Travel lever locks, 3 independent leg angles, Easy Link port, and the advanced 494 ball head with RC2/Arca-compatible 200PL PRO plate, friction control, and 360° panning, it delivers 9 kg payload stability, intuitive left/right-handed ergonomics, and professional performance in a carry-bag-included package built for creativity on the move.

A compact aluminium travel kit for photographs on three legs or a full-size monopod. The 494 ball head, QPL Travel lever locks and included carrying bag combine quick setup with a folded length of just 40 cm.
Detach the rubber-grip leg and remove the centre column. Join them using the threaded connector beneath the column: the same kit becomes a full-size monopod up to 156 cm high, rated for 5 kg and weighing 0.75 kg.

The Easy Link connector on the spider accepts compatible accessory arms for a light or reflector. Build an outdoor setup around the tripod without placing every accessory on the camera.
The tripod reaches 151 cm, or 128 cm with the centre column lowered. Its tripod safety payload is 9 kg under UNI/PdR 105:2021; this is distinct from the monopod rating.
QPL Travel levers provide a clear open/closed action. The side-pull leg-angle selector can be operated with either hand; each leg independently offers 22°, 54° and 89° positions for uneven ground and different viewpoints.
The compact aluminium 494 centre ball head has three independent controls: the main ball lock, adjustable friction to balance the camera and a panoramic lock for horizontal movement. Its 360° pan rotation makes it easy to change framing without releasing the ball.
The included 200PL PRO plate combines Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-style profiles for moving a camera between compatible systems. This plate compatibility is not a claim that the supplied head clamp accepts every Arca-style plate. The camera fastening uses a 1/4-inch screw.
Four-section aluminium legs, a rapid centre column and 40 cm folded length balance portability with practical height. The supplied carrying bag protects the kit in transit. The documented working-temperature range is −30 °C to +70 °C; the finish is black/silver.
The Manfrotto Befree 2-in-1 is a versatile aluminum tripod with an integrated monopod and an Easy Link port for attaching additional accessories. Thanks to its RC2- and Arca-Swiss-compatible ball head and 3/8" Easy Link thread, it can be easily expanded with arms, clamps, and mounts for smartphones or lighting.
Smartphone Mounts and Adapters - Accessories for attaching mobile phones directly to the tripod head or extension arms.
Quick-release systems and plates - Compatible plates and systems for quick handling of equipment on the tripod head.
Arms and Clamps (Grip) - Use the Easy Link port and tripod legs to attach lights, monitors, or other equipment.
Threaded Adapters and Spigots - Essential adapters and reducers for connecting different thread standards and mounts.
